While deciding on a look for the nursery, my hubby and I realized we wanted it to be centered around animals. He wanted safari animals and I wanted circus animals which are two totally different looks. After several designs, the above nursery board was born (pun intended) and it makes me very happy.
From the start I wanted it to have a modern look which for me meant more shapes & silhouettes instead of splashes of detailed animal faces everywhere. This design is a great jumping off point because it’s unisex since it’s still too early for us to know the baby’s sex. I’m not one of those (to be) moms that can wait to fix up the nursery, I need to start on it now! That way it makes me feel more prepared as the months go along.
