Green gardens

March is here and it’s the month for celebrating the color green, St. Patrick’s Day and the Spring Equinox on 3/20/14. I’m ready for it to get warmer around here so we can pull out tank tops and short pants again, it’s been too long! I’m ready for the greenery outside to wake up and make me happy to be a homeowner so I can try to prett-ify our outdoor spaces.

I’ll be the first to admit I have the blackest of black thumbs, so any kind of beautiful garden that lives successfully is cause for admiration in my book. As I write this post, it’s raining here in North Carolina :/  So here’s some gardens for you to oogle at and to aspire to.

A Zen garden is probably all I could manage, but even then I’d probably find a way to mess it up and accidentally kill the cacti and other succulents.

I’ll just aspire to these beauties and let my husband be the primary gardener around the house. Things tend to live longer when he plays a role in things, plus the outdoors are his domain.

  1. Its official. I now have garden envy! These are incredible sights to see and my thumb… wait. Change that. My thumb is getting greener all the time! Right now I am trying to save my houseplants from being drowned by me. Poor things.

SpringFling rocks and SO do you! Glad to meet you!

    1. Thank you Julie, so glad you liked the post. Hopefully your plants fare better than any of mine ever have. Even succulents aren’t safe near me, and those are the easiest, lol. Glad to meet you too!

  2. Oh how I love all these ideas! Amazing and inspiring 🙂 I too leave most of that stuff to my husband 🙂 #SITSSpringFling

    1. Thanks Debbie, I wish I could claim one of them as my own but alas, not so much. We’ll see how things go when Spring rolls around and the flowers come back (hopefully) in my front yard. Glad to connect with you!
